Q01. How long is the minimum rental or lease term for a Yardle trailer?

Yardle offers flexible lease terms starting at 30 days for storage trailers. Short-term rentals for cartage and shuttle applications can be structured on a weekly basis. Long-term lease programs are available from 6 months to 36 months or more. Our team will work with you to match the lease structure to your operational timeline.

Q15. What is the pricing structure for Yardle trailer leasing?

Yardle pricing is structured on a per-unit, per-month basis for storage trailers, and on program-specific rates for cartage and shuttle services. Pricing varies by trailer type, lease term, market location, and service configuration. Yardle provides detailed, transparent quotes with no hidden fees. Contact our team for a customized quote based on your specific requirements.

Q16. Are there long-term contracts required?

Yardle offers both short-term and long-term lease structures. While longer-term agreements may offer pricing advantages, Yardle does not require clients to commit to multi-year contracts. Our flexible lease structures are designed to match your operational planning horizon.

Q02. How quickly can Yardle deliver a trailer to my site?

In most markets across the US and Canada, Yardle can deliver a storage or road trailer within 24–72 hours of contract execution. For large fleet deployments or remote locations, our team will provide a specific delivery timeline during the quoting process.

Q14. Does Yardle operate in both the United States and Canada?

Yes. Yardle serves clients across the continental United States and Canada. Our fleet is registered and compliant for operations in both countries. Cross-border lease programs can be structured for clients with operations in both markets.

Q17. Can trailers be relocated during the lease term?

Yes. Yardle can coordinate trailer relocation within the US and Canada during an active lease term. Relocation fees and logistics are coordinated with your account manager. This flexibility makes Yardle ideal for businesses with evolving network footprints.

Q18. What geographic markets does Yardle serve?

Yardle serves logistics markets throughout the continental United States and Canada. We have established deployment capabilities in major freight corridors, port cities, distribution hub markets, and regional logistics centers. Contact our team to confirm availability in your specific market.

Q19. Can Yardle support emergency storage deployments?

C · Equipment & Specs

Equipment & Specs

Q03. What are the standard dimensions of a Yardle storage trailer?

Our standard storage trailers are 53 feet in length, 98–102 inches wide (interior), and 108–110 inches in interior height. This provides approximately 2,350–2,500 cubic feet of usable storage space and accommodates 26–30 standard pallets in a floor-loaded configuration.

Q11. Are Yardle trailers maintained and inspected regularly?

Yes. Every Yardle trailer undergoes a pre-deployment inspection before placement at a client site, covering structural integrity, weathertight seal condition, flooring, doors, and locking mechanisms. Road-ready and shuttle trailers also receive regular FMCSA-compliant maintenance and DOT inspection. Ongoing maintenance is managed by Yardle throughout the lease term.

Q21. What are Yardle trailers made of, and how durable are they?

Yardle dry van trailers feature aluminum skin construction on post-frame structure, providing excellent durability and weather resistance. Interior floors are hardwood (typically oak) or composite — rated for forklift operations. Our maintenance standards ensure structural integrity is verified before every deployment.

Q22. How does Yardle compare to traditional self-storage?

Traditional self-storage units are designed for personal property and small business use. They are typically limited to 10′ × 30′ maximum size, accessible only during facility hours, not forklift-accessible, and not capable of accommodating pallet-level commercial inventory. Yardle trailers provide full commercial-grade capacity, ground-level forklift access, on-site positioning, and flexible commercial lease terms suited for B2B operations.

Q23. Can Yardle trailers accommodate forklift loading?

Yes. Standard 53-foot dry van trailers are rated for forklift loading and unloading via yard ramp at the rear door. Side-door configured trailers allow forklift access from the side without the need for a ramp, depending on grade. Ground-level trailer positioning on a flat surface enables direct forklift entry in many configurations.

Q04. Can Yardle trailers be used for outdoor on-site storage?

Yes. Yardle storage trailers are designed for outdoor on-site deployment. They are weather-resistant, structurally rated for long-term static storage, and can be positioned on compacted gravel, concrete, or asphalt pads. Our team will assess your site during the initial consultation to ensure proper placement.

Q05. What types of products can be stored in a Yardle trailer?

Yardle dry van storage trailers are suitable for the storage of general merchandise, packaged goods, building materials, manufactured components, retail inventory, e-commerce stock, and similar ambient-temperature commodities. Trailers are not designed for flammable liquids, hazardous materials requiring specialized containment, or items requiring active refrigeration without the appropriate trailer type.

Q06. Do I need a loading dock to use a Yardle storage trailer?

No. One of the key advantages of Yardle trailer storage is ground-level access. Trailers can be loaded and unloaded from the rear with a yard ramp, from the side (on side-door configured units), or directly via forklift on level surfaces. Ground-level access eliminates the need for dock infrastructure.

Q07. Does Yardle provide yard ramps with storage trailers?

Yardle can coordinate yard ramp rental as part of a storage trailer program in most markets. Ask your account representative about yard ramp availability and pricing in your area during the quoting process.

Q12. What happens if a trailer is damaged during my lease?

In the event of trailer damage, clients contact their Yardle account representative immediately. Our team assesses the damage, coordinates repair or replacement, and works with the client to minimize operational disruption. Damage liability is governed by the lease agreement, and Yardle offers loss damage waiver (LDW) options to provide additional coverage protection.

Q24. Does Yardle provide insurance or loss damage waiver options?

Yardle offers Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) options to provide clients with protection against damage to Yardle equipment during the lease term. Clients may also be required to maintain liability coverage for on-site trailer positioning. Your Yardle account representative will review coverage requirements and options during the onboarding process.

E · Cartage & Programs

Cartage & Programs

Q08. How does Yardle cartage and shuttle service work?

Yardle cartage services provide local and regional trailer movement between yards, docks, facilities, and storage areas. Our drivers and equipment move your trailers according to a defined schedule or on an on-call basis. Programs are designed in consultation with your operations team and managed by a dedicated Yardle account manager.

Q09. What is a drop-trailer program?

A drop-trailer program involves Yardle maintaining a standing pool of trailers at your facility for your use. Carriers drop loads into Yardle trailers at your dock, and the trailers remain on-site for unloading on your schedule. This eliminates carrier wait time, improves dock throughput, and gives you more control over inbound freight management.

Q10. Does Yardle offer port drayage services?

Yardle provides drayage support and off-dock trailer storage programs for importers and exporters managing port operations. We can coordinate the movement of loaded containers or trailers from port terminals to off-dock storage or staging facilities, reducing demurrage exposure and improving container turn times.

Q13. How many trailers can Yardle deploy at one location?

Yardle can deploy single trailers or large multi-unit fleet programs at a single site. Clients managing large distribution centers, construction projects, or event logistics have used Yardle for deployments ranging from 2 to 50+ trailers. Our team will assess your site’s physical capacity and coordinate a deployment plan.

Q20. Does Yardle offer dedicated trailer pools for high-volume clients?

Yes. Yardle designs and manages dedicated trailer pool programs for clients with recurring, high-volume cartage, shuttle, or storage needs. Pool programs are structured with defined fleet size, maintenance protocols, and account management — providing a managed-fleet solution without asset ownership.
